STYLIST'S NOTEBOOK

The Sanremo Skirt

We first designed our Sebastiane Skirt in Summer 2021, and it quickly became one of our styling team’s go-tos. Our Pre-Fall collection marks the arrival of another classic-in-the-making: the ‘70s-inspired Sanremo Skirt, with its high waist and tiered A-line silhouette. Crafted from crisp organic cotton and rendered in Coriander, an earthy neutral, it pairs just as well with a barely-there top and sandals as it does with a lightweight knit and boots. Our friend and stylist Layna shares how she’ll be wearing this skirt now and through the months to come.

STYLED WITH

The Penny Bandana as a Top

The Penny Bandana has become one of our favorite styling tricks. In a hand-drawn print inspired by vintage mens’ ties, this silk twill staple works just as well as a top during those lingering hot August days as it does as a neckerchief with a sweater later.

STYLED WITH

The Hava Top

Katherine’s favorite vintage-inspired Montecito Stripe—tailored in Italian cotton from shirting mill Thomas Mason—transitions effortlessly, especially when left partially unbuttoned to reveal a glimpse of skin.

The Marsena Sweater

A pop of cherry red enlivens autumn neutrals—and this crewneck style, spun from the softest baby alpaca blend, is sure to become a cold-weather MVP. We love it styled with the Penny Bandana—yet again!—and a luxe boot like the knee-high Riviera in a faux embossed croc, coming in a future chapter of Fall.
