Print Designer

The Print Designer is responsible for creating artwork and original pattern design. This highly creative individual will work closely with the design team to create print repeats for RTW , homewear, kids, and oversee all embroideries + prints. The ideal candidate is a highly creative individual who welcomes the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team environment, and embrace change and tight deadlines as the brand grows and develops. 


  •         Working alongside design team to design and develop all prints, jacquards and embroideries
  •         Leading the whole process of print and embroidery development from concept through finished samples in coordination with our factories overseas.
  •         Hitting deadlines for all stages of artwork development
  •         Designing artworks, colorways, repeats, print placement, and color-up CADs for all styles.
  •         Creating mock-up designs and recoloring on both fabric and model
  •         Creating vector ready artworks for RTW, accessories, and homeware 
  •         Creating artwork for collaborations, special projects and capsules
  •         Responsible for generating and updating mood and print boards, both physical and digital
  •         Research and inspiration in tandem with VP of design for all the artwork related needs of the collection.
  •         Lead in corrections/approvals for all of development process including colors, lab dips, strike offs, and fabric comments.



The Ideal Candidate


  •         A degree in Fashion Design or Textile Design with a focus on prints.
  •         Professional Print Design background with 3 plus years relevant experience.
  •         Excellent Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
  •         Hand drawing/painting skills.
  •         Sufficient knowledge of garment patterns for the needs of print-placement.
  •         Good understanding of woven fabrics, both print bases and jacquards/novelties.
  •         Collaborative approach and creative eye.
  •         Excellent communication and organization skills.
  •         A positive attitude and self-motivated approach
