DESIGN INTERN

DÔEN IS SEEKING A HIGHLY CREATIVE DESIGN INTERN TO JOIN OUR TEAM ON A PART TIME BASIS IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-ASSISTS DESIGN TEAM WITH ORGANIZATION AND FILING OF VINTAGE SAMPLES AND SUBMITS
-MAINTAINS THE FABRIC/TRIM LIBRARY
-UPDATES LINE SHEETS AS NECESSARY
-SUPPORTS ASSOCIATE DESIGNER IN PUTTING TOGETHER PRESENTATIONS AND PRINT COMMENTS
-ASSISTS THE DESIGN TEAM IN TREND RESEARCH, COLORS, FABRICS & TRIMS
-BUILDS COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM MEMBERS

COMPETENCIES:
-COMPUTER PROFICIENCY IN CAD, MICROSOFT OFFICE
-COLLEGE DEGREE IN FASHION DESIGN & ART PREFERRED
-STRONG SENSE OF COLOR
-BROAD KNOWLEDGE OF FASHION (BOTH VINTAGE AND HIGH-END)
-STRONG PLANNING AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS WITH A SENSE OF              -PRIORITY FOR DEADLINES AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL
-EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
-FLEXIBLE AND ADAPTABLE IN A RAPIDLY GROWING COMPANY

COMPENSATION:
PART TIME
$14.25 / HOUR
