Fall Layers with Marlien Rentmeester
Our friend Marlien Rentmeester is one of our sartorial North Stars when it comes to seamlessly incorporating trends into her wardrobe in a way that feels unmistakably true to her personal style. Iterating on the success of her wildly popular and OG blog, Le Catch, she recently put her keen eye for mixing high and low to good use on her newly launched Substack {sign up here}, which gives her most loyal followers first dibs on her latest discoveries.
So when she let us know she was heading back to the East Coast from LA, we armed her with a suitcase full of pieces from our Fall collection—floor sweeping silks, a cozy shearling, and of course, cashmere knits—where she spent the day hopping around Dimes Square where she was photographed by her twin sister Coliena. More on their day of featuring several outfit changes and a cocktail stop below…
DÔEN HEIRLOOM ELAYNE TOP
“Tying a sweater around my waist makes this delicate and feminine blouse a little less precious. Plus, I don't want to hide its pretty detailing!”
DÔEN HEIRLOOM MELINDA DRESS
“This dress has a beautiful sheen so I layered it with a plush coat (or a nubby knit works too!) to add even more depth.”
DAVIS COAT
“The kind of coat that makes a statement—I love the heft and its oversized cut.”
