Festivities for Good

For the seventh year, we hosted our annual holiday fundraiser to benefit our longtime partner Planned Parenthood LA—we were thrilled when our friends Justine Lupe and Eléonore Toulin agreed to co-host alongside Margaret and Katherine. Last Wednesday night, we gathered in our most festive attire at Genghis Cohen for a paper lantern-lit evening of dancing with friends, tarot readings and card games, an overflowing dessert table, and a silent auction with all proceeds going back to PPLA. 

To disco tunes courtesy of Phoebe’s husband (our unofficial DJ for every DÔEN party since we’ve launched), we shimmied on the dance floor to “She Drives Me Crazy.” New York-style Chinese bites were passed, sparkling wine and coquitos flowed generously courtesy of Sophia James Wine and Sonrisa, while an overflowing dessert table complete with pavlovas, cookies, and a towering croquembouche proved to be a hit (and the most IG worthy). Pizza arrived right on time for a refuel amidst the fun, which continued with more dancing well into the night.
