BRAZIL

BRAZIL SANDAL, ESPADRILLE, AND MARY JANE FACILITY

The Brazilian facility where we manufacture many of our shoes is woman-owned and operated. Family-run for two generations, our Brazilian partners have a passion for research and equality, and strive to create supportive working conditions for the artisanal leather workers they employ. Their facilities are audited by Bureau Veritas.

BRAZIL SANDAL, HEEL, AND BOOT FACILITY 

This Brazilian footwear manufacturer is woman-co-owned and run, and partners with brands across the world and within Brazil to create women’s shoes inspired by heritage cobbling techniques. Their facilities are audited by Bureau Veritas.

CHINA

CHINA WOVENS FACTORY

Our facility in China was chosen for its proximity to local silk and its WRAP Gold Certification, ensuring that they provide a safe, compliant workplace for all employees.

INDIA

INDIA WOVENS AND ARTISANAL CRAFTWORK FACILITY 1

This facility in India is women-owned and audited by the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA) under their most comprehensive 4 Pillar Certification program. The factory has received a certification for their upholding of high standards of labor, environmental, and business ethics.

INDIA WOVENS AND HANDWORK FACILITY

Our primary vendor in India uses a Triple Bottom Line framework, accounting for their social and environmental impact as well as their financial reporting. They are woman co-owned, and have established a foundation that covers the cost of educating the daughters of all employees. They are certified Oeko-Tex and REACH. Currently, select facilities are certified by GOTS and WRAP, and they are in the process of certifying all facilities by WRAP. Their facilities have been carbon audited and offset since March 2021, and our facilities are Bureau Veritas audited.

INDIA WOVENS AND ARTISANAL CRAFTWORK FACILITY 2

This facility is woman-owned and has been certified Platinum level by Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), the world’s largest independent certification program focused on the apparel sector. Their facilities also utilize solar power generated from panels on their roof, which contribute to roughly 30-45% of their energy needs. 

ITALY

ITALY ACCESSORIES AND HANDBAG FACILITY

Family-operated since the 1960s, our Italian manufacturing facilities use artisanal handcrafting techniques to produce high quality shoes, bags, and accessories. The facility employs an equal number of men and women, many of whom have been working with the manufacturer for over a decade. Workers at the facility share an on-site community garden, where they produce olive oil for their own use.

ITALY CLOG AND BALLERINA FACILITY

Family-owned and operated for nearly 40 years, our Italian shoe manufacturing facility has an established expertise in supporting brands that prioritize environmental responsibility. The facility incorporates metal-free tanning processes and recycled leathers into their production processes, and carefully researches all fillers, working with certified companies to ensure quality and compliance.
