The Dôen Denim Guide
In Spring 2016, we gathered our findings after years of vintage denim hunting to design the jean of our dreams—a cropped sailor style. Since dreaming up that first-ever pair, we’ve thoughtfully released new cuts and washes when we felt like we’d gotten it just right. This Fall, we’re excited to debut two new silhouettes—the mid-rise, relaxed Leone and stovepipe-inspired Benedicte—and new washes to add to your everyday denim rotation.

The Nikita Jean
A favorite of our co-founder, Margaret, the ’60s-inspired Nikita Jean takes cues from sailor silhouettes, crafted from cotton denim with a hint of elastane for stretch.
THE CUT: High-waisted with a slim sailor silhouette.
THE DETAILS: A button and zipper closure, two front welt pockets.
THE FIT: Get your true size. Light stretch means they’ll relax slightly after a few wears.
The Diana Jean
Our everyday straight-legged wardrobe staple jean, inspired by our ongoing quest for the perfect pair of five-pocket jeans.
THE CUT: High-waisted with a slightly tapered straight leg.
THE DETAILS: A button fly, angled back pockets, and classic front pockets.
THE FIT: 100% organic cotton denim means they’ll soften with wear, so size down if you want a more snug fit.
The Diana Crop Jean
We’re excited to introduce the Diana Crop Jean, designed for the women in our lives who are always having to hem their jeans to achieve the perfect fit. All the details you love about our classic Diana, but with a slightly shorter rise and inseam.
THE CUT: High-waisted (a half-inch shorter rise than our Diana Jean) with a slightly tapered straight leg (a two-inch shorter inseam than Diana).
THE DETAILS: A button fly, angled back pockets, and classic front pockets.

The Benedicte Jean
Inspired by ‘90s stovepipe styles, the Benedicte is a high-waisted silhouette with a straight leg that pairs nicely with a kitten heel or boot.

The Maritime Jean
Taking cues from our favorite ‘60s sailor pants, the Maritime Jean features an ultra-high waist and patchwork front pockets.

The Leone Jean
