Home for the Holidays with Pia Baroncini

There are few people whose content can stop us mid-scroll. Pia Baroncini is one of those people. Whether she’s livestreaming from the kitchen making cacio e pepe with her husband Davide or lamenting the end of her beloved nude lip liner, Pia is always delightfully warm and refreshingly unfiltered. As the creative director of LPA, host of the podcast Everything is the Best, and one half of Baroncini Import & Co., an olive oil company she started with Davide, she recently stepped into her newest role—that of mama to her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Carmela. Together under one roof with Pia’s mother, Margit, the Baroncinis live in the same Spanish Colonial home in Pasadena that has been in her family for decades. The home has served as a backdrop for countless holiday gatherings hosted by her parents over the years—and today, Pia finds great joy in carrying on that family tradition, with one stipulation: “It shouldn’t be stressful.” To keep things lively and smooth while entertaining at home, she recommends putting together a simple menu and prepping in advance. This year, she’s especially looking forward to seeing Carmela experience the holidays—and hosting family and friends for Christmas dinner; a tradition since before she was born.
